Role description
We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to own and scale PCA’s growth engine. This role is about two things:
1. Run core levers now — launch and scale paid acquisition, optimize funnels, enforce CAC reporting, and own one specialty channel (partnerships, affiliates, or PR/podcasts).
1. Build the team next — integrate current people into a single marketing org, then hire additional specialists (media buyers, SEO, etc.).
Compensation: $100K–$150K per year (base + bonuses tied to performance, CAC/volume).
Reporting to: Alex Rechevskiy (Founder & CEO).
Marketing budget: $30K/mo (scaling to $100K/mo effective spend by Jan 2026).
Marketing team: Creative Director + video team, copy/email marketer, graphic designer, web developer, fractional ad buyer, strong sales org (manager, sellers, support, admin).
What you'll do:
• Own demand generation: launch, manage, and scale paid campaigns (YouTube, LinkedIn, Google, IG, FB).
• Integrate existing team members (video, short/long form writing, emails, graphic designer) into new Marketing org.
• Build and optimize funnels (website copy, VSLs, webinars, evergreen nurture).
• Track and improve CAC, application approval and show rates.
• Drive one additional growth channel (partnerships, podcast guesting or affiliates).
• Over time, hire and manage additional specialists (ad buyers, SEO, M&A, support/ops).
What skills are we looking for:
• Performance marketing expertise: running and scaling paid ads (YouTube, LinkedIn, Google, IG, FB).
• Funnel optimization: experience with landing pages, VSLs, webinars, nurture sequences, Strong at performance marketing and funnel optimization.
• Analytical: CAC dashboards, UTMs, Airtable/Looker/Amplitude.
• Scrappy: gets campaigns live fast.
• Builder: integrates people, systems, and processes into one team and one goal.
• Leadership: Breadth across channels, able to manage specialists and hire for gaps.
What are the minimum requirements:
• 3–5+ years in growth or performance marketing with direct budget accountability.
• Proven record of generating leads for coaching, SaaS, edtech, VSL-driven programs.
• Hands-on operator — personally managed paid campaigns and optimized funnels (not just managed agencies).
• Experience scaling ad spend to at least $30K/month while maintaining CAC targets.
• Ability to manage or lead a small marketing team or cross-functional specialists.
This might be for you if you:
• You want to own the marketing engine at a $5M company looking to grow very quickly
• You thrive in fast-moving, high-accountability environments
• You enjoy both operating (hands-on campaigns) and building (team + systems).
• You care about measurable impact: every campaign = more PMs landing top paid jobs.
• Are excited about the prospect of growing to CMO — organically, through action.
• Are energized by partnering with a high-output creative team
