Our flagship platform, TheBook, is redefining how style-conscious audiences engage with content, creators, and brands. We're now seeking a HOM who can build a high-performance marketing function that drives audience growth, strengthens brand positioning, and fuels revenue across multiple channels. Role Overview: We’re looking for a strategic and execution-focused HOM to lead brand, growth, and performance marketing across all our platforms. This role combines analytical thinking with creative storytelling. The ideal candidate is comfortable in early-stage environments and experienced in building scalable marketing engines from the ground up. What You’ll Do: • Brand & Positioning: Define and elevate the brand identity of TheBook and future Hungry Minds ventures. • Growth Strategy: Design and execute multi-channel growth strategies to increase reach, engagement, and retention. • Performance Marketing: Set up and optimize paid campaigns (social, search, affiliate) with a clear ROI focus. • Content & Community: Partner with editorial and content teams to amplify distribution and build loyal communities. • Data & Insights: Implement frameworks to measure performance across channels, optimize funnels, and inform decision-making. • Team Building: Hire, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team over time. • Partnerships & Collaborations: Identify and nurture brand, media, and creator partnerships to drive visibility and relevance. Who You Are: • 7+ years of marketing leadership experience, ideally across both brand and performance. • Proven success scaling early-stage or content-driven consumer brands. • Deep understanding of digital platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, newsletters, etc.). • Experience working with creators/influencers and understanding of cultural trends. • Strong storytelling instincts paired with a data-informed mindset. • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving, remote-first team. • Bonus: Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or publishing verticals.
