The Role We’re looking for a hands-on professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong commercial acumen who has demonstrated a track record of success in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth in consumer audio. The successful candidate will be able to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, and also drive our USA marketing needs, as well as be the voice of our US customer so we design and manufacture the right future products to maximize our potential in the USA. Reporting to the UK-based Global Head of Sales, this role collaborates closely with central marketing, product, and operations teams. Responsibilities: Sales Management · Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan that aligns with the company's growth objectives in USA. · Own and grow key account relationships ensuring alignment with brand positioning and sales targets. · Identify new business opportunities, build strategic relationships, and negotiate deals to drive revenue growth. · Work with rep firms and others to extend market reach and improve sell-through performance. Provide training, incentives, and support tools to strengthen brand presence and consistency across all touchpoints. · Monitor and analyse sales performance, identify trends, and develop strategies to optimize performance. · Implement sales reporting tools and systems to track progress and provide valuable insights to senior management. · Ensure the delivery of monthly sales targets and other agreed KPIs. Marketing Management · Adapt and execute a marketing plan that supports the company's growth objectives in USA. · Tailor messaging and campaigns for major US retailers, independent dealers, and online platforms, leveraging insights from local market dynamics. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly the marketing teams, to develop and implement impactful campaigns that enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and increase sales. · Effectively manage budgets and allocate resources to maximize the impact of marketing activities. · Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities to expand the brand's reach and enhance customer engagement. · Work closely with the central marketing team to maximise opportunities. Product and Market Insight and Direction · Act as the voice of the US customer within the business, providing clear, structured feedback on product performance, market gaps, and emerging trends. · Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to shape future product roadmaps, ensuring regional relevance and competitiveness in the US market. · Identify opportunities to localise product features or bundles to better serve key US customer segments and channels. · Stay abreast of competitor moves, pricing shifts, and technology trends, delivering actionable insights that influence both near- and long-term product direction. Strategy and Leadership: · Contribute to the overall sales and marketing strategy of the company. · Lead, mentor and develop the sales team in USA, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their objectives. · Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen relationships with partners and customers. · Effectively communicate the brand story and product offerings across various media channels to engage existing and new customers Requirements · 5+ years of relevant sales and marketing experience in premium consumer electronics, preferably premium audio. · Demonstrated a track record of success in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drive significant revenue growth. · Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and mentor a small high energy team of sales, and to some extent marketing, professionals. · Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen – thrives in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments. · Hands-on approach with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels. · Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. · Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and with external partners. · In-depth understanding of the USA market, consumer audio market and consumer behaviours.
