Role description
MEISON is a collection of high-end and luxury women’s apparel brands including Jones New York, Misook, Ming Wang, and Kasper. We focus on elevated, timeless workwear and fashions that are easy to mix-and-match and designed to help build an effortless and reusable wardrobe. Our brands are found online, through specialty boutiques, and in stores with our various retail partners such as Neiman Marcus, Saks 5th Avenue, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s and Dillard’s. Position Summary: We are looking for an Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist to help shape and execute on our best-in-class customer experiences across our brand sites Misook.com, MingWang.com, JNY.com, Kasper.com. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about fashion and retail, and creating great experiences across product, content, and commerce that drives engagement and conversions. This position will report directly to the Senior Ecommerce Manager. Salary Range: $50,000-$55,000 Benefits: • 100% Employer-Paid Basic Medical, Dental & Vision • 401(k) • 10 Paid Holidays • PTO Duties & Responsibilities • Work alongside with Marketing Brand Specialists and Managers to execute on site merchandising strategies, including new product launches, markdowns & promotions, campaigns and landing pages • Manage product lifecycle tasks including SKU setup, product tagging, markdowns, and management of product feeds • Review and approve content provided from Marketing for website assets including homepage, collections, product details and descriptions, and landing pages • Adjust product positioning on site and take a lead in campaign SKU curation in accordance with DTC objectives and inventory positions • Work alongside Senior Ecommerce Manager and Buyers to monitor gross margins, ensure adequate inventory positions, and measure monthly sell-throughs • Tightly monitor SKU-specific site and sales metrics, taking a deep and consistent view of product performance down at the campaign level, traffic by source, conversion etc. • Use reporting insights to identify trends and suggest recommendations to cross-functional partners like Buyers, Marketing, Logistics, etc. • Partner with Ecommerce Managers, IT, and outside agency partners to improve frontend and backend ecommerce functionality as it relates to site merchandising. • Partner with Ecommerce Operations Managers to review site experience, strategize on improvements, and conduct A/B testing for conversion rate optimization Experience and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, E-Commerce, Business, Digital Business or related field • 3-5 years of experience in Ecommerce or digital marketing, preferably with Shopify • 2-3 year of experience in website merchandising preferably in retail or beauty • Experience with project management systems - Asana, Jira, Trello preferred • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and manage relationships with cross functional team members • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on Retail math. Experience with data visualization tools strongly preferred (i.e. Google Analytics) • Advanced Excel skills with ability to produce graphics and tables, use spreadsheets efficiently, and perform calculations and automations to process large amounts of data More about Meison We are a family owned and operated company, and our core values help shape our company culture.
