About the Role
Freedom Munitions is seeking an experienced Influencer, Community & Social Media Manager to lead creator partnerships, build community activations, manage our social presence, and grow affiliate and sponsorship programs across our brand portfolio.
This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes the outdoor and 2A lifestyle, has a strong pulse on firearms creators and competitive shooters, and thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is equal parts relationship-builder, digital marketer, and organizer, with the ability to scale both online and offline engagement.
You’ll manage influencer partnerships across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, plan grassroots events and range activations nationwide, run our social platforms (including Facebook Groups), and represent our brands at major events like SHOT Show. Bonus if you’re comfortable appearing on-camera or creating content—but not required.
Responsibilities
• Identify, recruit, and manage influencers and creators across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms
• Negotiate paid partnerships, affiliate agreements, and product seeding campaigns
• Build and manage affiliate and ambassador programs across brands, including codes, tracking, payouts, and performance analysis
• Develop and manage sponsorship programs for competitive shooters and brand ambassadors
• Coordinate and represent our brands at major industry events, including SHOT Show, NRAAM, and local range activations
• Plan and execute in-person community events (range days, retailer activations, regional meetups)
• Own day-to-day content planning and publishing for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Pages, and Facebook Groups
• Engage with the 2A and shooting sports community through comments, reposts, DMs, and trending content
• Report regularly on campaign ROI, creator performance, community sentiment, and social media growth metrics
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the creative, marketing, ecommerce, and operations teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 3+ years experience in influencer marketing, social media, partnerships, or community management
• Passion for the 2A industry, hunting, shooting sports, or outdoor lifestyle
• Existing knowledge of and connections within the firearms creator ecosystem (particularly YouTube and Instagram)
• Strong understanding of affiliate marketing tools, community platforms, and creator monetization
• Proven experience organizing and executing live events (range days, trade shows, local activations)
• Confident communicator and negotiator, both in writing and in person
• Highly organized with excellent follow-through and project management skills
• Familiarity with platform compliance standards and content moderation within the firearms industry
• Ability to travel occasionally for events, trade shows, and brand partnerships
Nice to Have
• Comfortable being on-camera and creating original content
• Experience managing or moderating Facebook Groups and Reddit-style forums
• Previous experience working in or adjacent to regulated industries (firearms, alcohol, tobacco, supplements)
• Existing relationships with ranges, shooting leagues, or national 2A organizations
• Knowledge of outdoor media, TV placements, or podcast sponsorships
• Experience with influencer tools like GRIN, Aspire, or affiliate platforms like ShareASale
