Role description
The Role The International Project Manager will be an invaluable team member for the International Team, managing a variety of projects and processes as MaryRuth’s continues to expand internationally and establish MaryRuth’s products in the global market. This role will assist in scoping requirements and procedures for onboarding new international distributors and eCommerce marketplaces, will support the implementation and optimization of team flow for sales, regulatory procedures, order fulfillment, reporting, and team meeting structures, and will facilitate the ongoing relationships with a wide variety of distributors and marketplaces. The International Project Manager will report directly to the international Sales Director and will work closely with the Director to connect strategy and implementation for new and ongoing projects. This is a full-time (40 hr/wk), salary-exempt, paid, remote position. The ideal candidate would be able to work EST or CST hours. The compensation range for this role is $80,000 to $85,000 USD/year. Responsibilities • Establish efficient project workflows and monitoring for the International team in areas including onboarding new distributors and partners and regulatory processes from inception to completion. • Identify and prepare for pricing and terms agreements, logistical needs, regulation requirements, and order processes with both new and established distribution channels and partners. • Facilitate and proactively maintain relationships between MaryRuth’s and international distributors, including leading communications with cross-cultural sensitivity and emotional intelligence, building long-term trust and success. • Collaborate cross-functionally with various internal MaryRuth’s departments including QA/QC, Supply Chain, and Product Development on projects, processes, and requirements. • Identify areas of opportunity and suggest solutions or process improvements for the team. • Support International Sales Director in providing guidance and information to International team members. • The travel percentage is expected to be approximately 10%, including international travel, with advance notice provided to the employee. • Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications • Minimum 2-3+ years of experience in project management; PMP ideal. • Work experience tracking projects in Asana. • Understanding of cultural differences; strong preference for experience with international or multinational projects. • Exceptional time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize but remain flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment. • Demonstrated experience in eCommerce is required; social media and/or influencer campaign experience is a bonus. • Fluency in English is required; multilingual capabilities (especially Spanish) are a strong plus. • Ability to travel internationally up to ~10% of the time. Physical Requirements • Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. • This role involves sitting most of the time but may also involve moving for brief periods of time.
