Position Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to own end-to-end inventory operations across our e-commerce and wholesale channels. You will ensure optimal stock levels, minimize out-of-stocks and excess inventory, and drive efficiency in our 3PL-managed network. A proven track record in e-commerce inventory management—ideally within the CPG space—is essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Inventory Planning & Forecasting:
• Develop and maintain bi-weekly and monthly inventory forecasts leveraging historical sales, marketing promotions, and product launch schedules.
• Collaborate with Finance and Demand Planning to align inventory targets with revenue goals.
• Channel Inventory Management:
• Oversee daily stock levels for Amazon Seller Central and Shopify; manage inbound and outbound workflows with our 3PL partner.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory across systems (e.g. NetSuite, ShipBob/third-party WMS).
• Replenishment & Ordering:
• Generate purchase requisitions to maintain safety stock and meet projected demand.
• Work cross-functionally with Procurement to optimize order quantities and lead times.
• Process Optimization:
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce carrying costs, shrinkage, and lead-time variability.
• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory adjustments.
• Reporting & Analytics:
• Create dashboard reports on key metrics (inventory turns, stock-out rate, fill rate, aged inventory).
• Present inventory performance insights to senior leadership on a monthly cadence.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner with E-commerce, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to support promotional planning and new product launches.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Rho Nutrition and our 3PL operations.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on inventory management in an e-commerce environment.
• Demonstrated experience with Amazon Seller Central and Shopify inventory processes.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems or ERPs.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a bias for action.
Preferred Qualifications
• Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) background, with familiarity in food, supplement, or personal-care products.
• Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and warehouse management systems.
• Exposure to lean inventory methodologies (just-in-time, Kanban).
• Familiarity with data-visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
