Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Supervisor of Retail Marketing Products & Services leads a product-oriented team of analysts and engineers responsible for the lifecycle of our customer-facing digital solutions, including e-Commerce and web platforms. This role acts as a key partner to the business, translating Marketing and Customer Experience strategies into a tangible product backlog and roadmap. As a strategic technology partner within IDS - Omnichannel Retail, the supervisor will guide their team in delivering value by configuring and building solutions that consume foundational services from the central Platform Products & Services (PPS) team. This position ensures that our Retail Marketing technology products are innovative, reliable, and effectively support our omnichannel business goals. This role is within the Information and Digital Services organization at Les Schwab headquarters in Bend, OR. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 25% - Operational Excellence β€’ In partnership with PPS and our technology partners, ensure the stable, scalable and secure operation of all Retail Marketing technology products. β€’ Oversee and manage the support activities for e-Commerce and customer-facing websites to meet established service levels. β€’ Maintain and establish enterprise-wide standardization and operational documentation for all corporate IT processes and systems impacting Retail Marketing. β€’ Manage the support activities to the standards and service levels for the enterprise business solutions related to e-Commerce and customer-facing websites. 20% - Product Management & Delivery β€’ Lead the day-to-day execution of the Retail Marketing and e-commerce product roadmap, managing the product backlog and prioritizing work for the team in alignment with business objectives. β€’ Define Retail Marketing and e-Commerce products supporting functional lifecycle improvements. β€’ Guide the team through agile development cycles to deliver new features and enhancements for customer-facing digital platforms. β€’ Act as a key liaison with the PPS team to ensure the team effectively consumes and provides feedback on core platform services (e.g., data integration, BI, etc.). β€’ Define and analyze product metrics to measure success and ensure solutions are meeting the needs of the business and our customers. 20% - Team Leadership & Development β€’ Lead, coach, and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, product ownership, and accountability. β€’ Responsible for the performance management and career development of direct reports, including corrective action and termination as necessary. β€’ Build a successful team through effective hiring, onboarding, and training of new members. β€’ Set clear operational goals and direction for the team that align with the overall product strategy set by the Director. 15% - Design for the Future β€’ Think creatively, recognize new business trends within the areas of departmental scope and identify the most valuable opportunities, ideas, and improvements for the organization's Retail Marketing efforts. β€’ Actively communicate business strategy, creating a shared understanding and shared vision throughout the organization regarding Retail Marketing initiatives. β€’ Identify and create strategies/methods of implementation to make the vision a reality and drive strategic planning to completion for e-Commerce and customer-facing solutions. 15% - Stakeholder & Vendor Management β€’ Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders in Marketing and Retail to ensure product backlogs are aligned with their needs and priorities. β€’ Manage relationships with vendors and implementation partners for our Retail Marketing and e-Commerce products, ensuring they meet their contractual obligations and deliver value. β€’ Oversee vendor performance to ensure support and solutions are provided in accordance with agreed-upon outcomes 5% - Financial Oversight β€’ Contribute to the annual budget planning process for Retail Marketing technology and track expenses against the budget. β€’ Roadmap and strategize future budget planning for Retail Marketing. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Educational/Experience Requirements: β€’ Four-year college degree in a related field, such as Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent relevant experience. β€’ Minimum of 5 years of IT experience. β€’ Minimum of 3 years of experience managing or leading teams focused on Retail Marketing, e-Commerce, or customer-facing digital solutions. β€’ Experience working in a product-oriented or agile IT environment is highly preferred. Required Technical Skills/Knowledge: β€’ Experience with e-Commerce platforms, content management systems, and web analytics tools preferred. β€’ Strong understanding of product management principles and agile/waterfall methodologies. β€’ Knowledge of architectural best practices for web and e-Commerce platforms. β€’ Understanding of the cross-functional processes involved in delivering digital customer journeys. β€’ Knowledge and ability to use and administer marketplace and technology practices, standards and procedures for e-Commerce. β€’ Experience in collaborating with internal platform teams and external vendors to deliver solutions. β€’ IT service management (ITIL) expertise is preferred. Physical Requirements: Primarily desk position; regularly required to sit, occasionally required to stand and walk. Requires frequent and repetitive use of hands and fingers to operate computer, mouse, keyboard, and office related equipment and the ability to reach with hands and arms. This position requires lifting no more than 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus. Requires the ability to communicate verbally and exchange information by phone and in person. Work Environment: Office, non-manual work; the worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. The worker must be available when urgent issues arise that require their coordination or escalation. Urgent-availability needs are rare but the worker is expected to comply when they occur. This may include performing work outside of regular hours and/or supporting teams performing off-hours work by checking in remotely and/or in person as necessary.
