Job Summary: PRADCO Outdoor Brands is a leader in producing hunting and fishing products, and they are seeking an Adobe Commerce/Magento Developer to enhance their e-commerce platform. The developer will be responsible for supporting application updates, writing frontend and backend code, and ensuring the security of the platform. Responsibilities: β€’ Provide application support to the team members that use the e-commerce platform. β€’ Write PHP backend code to integrate with other internal and 3rd-party systems. β€’ Write HTML, CSS and JavaScript frontend code for storefront pages. β€’ Build content pages based on provided UI/UX design documents. β€’ Design normalized MySQL tables to meet storage needs of new features. β€’ Write MySQL compatible queries to import and export data from other systems. β€’ Maintain the security of the e-commerce platform to protect customer data, prevent fraudulent activity and continue PCI compliance. β€’ Communicate clearly with project stakeholders about task requirements and finished features. β€’ Coordinate, plan and manage changes requests from the marketing department using Kanban-style project management. β€’ Submit code using Git version control. Qualifications: Required: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related field of study, or equivalent software development experience. β€’ Minimum of 2 years of experience with: β€’ Developing Adobe Commerce / Magento websites. β€’ Object-oriented programming using PHP. β€’ Writing web front-end code using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. β€’ Using Git version control or other equivalent tools. β€’ Ability to work business hours in the North American Central time zone. β€’ Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. β€’ May require sitting for long periods of time in an office environment. β€’ Ability to see where process improvements can be made either through observation of processes or from communication with users and offer solutions to bring those improvements to life.
