Role description
About Us
Dreibach is a well-established importer and retailer with offices in London and China. We specialise in sourcing fast-moving consumer products at scale and bringing them to market faster than our competitors across the UK and Europe. With a strong presence in eCommerce, we operate in a fast-paced, data-driven environment where innovation, efficiency, and speed are key.
The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and commercially aware Junior Buyer to join our Buying team. You will support the full product lifecycle — from sourcing and sample coordination to product setup and post-launch analysis. This role offers hands-on exposure to global supply chain processes, supplier negotiations, and the opportunity to manage selected product ranges with accountability for their commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and execute buying plans and schedules
• Build new relationships and maintain strong, ongoing communication with existing suppliers
• Conduct competitor and market research to support informed buying decisions
• Source new products and develop existing ranges through detailed market analysis
• Conduct in-house quality assessments and liaise with third-party QA companies
• Liaise with suppliers to track samples, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely production
• Manage and maintain a product sample tracker
• Input and maintain purchase orders within internal systems
• Coordinate with design and marketing teams on content, packaging, and briefings
• Monitor product critical paths to ensure all timelines are met
What You Bring
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical mindset with strong commercial awareness
• Ability to build rapport and maintain effective supplier relationships
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Familiarity with Far East and European sourcing and importing is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; knowledge of Linnworks, Helium 10, or platforms like Amazon and TikTok Shop is a bonus
• Experience in retail or eCommerce is preferred but not essential
• Ability to gather information and make well-informed, decisive recommendations
What We Offer
• £27,000 - £29,000 Salary
• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing annually
• Work-from-home Fridays
• A dynamic, collaborative team culture that values ownership and innovation
• Opportunities for personal and professional growth
• Smart, casual working environment
• Team Socials and Lunches
