Job Description, Purpose of the Role Interested in taking the next step in your career in merchandising? We have a great opportunity to join our team as a Junior Merchandiser You’ll be working with major footwear brands in our dynamic, fast paced Head Office just off Old Street. We’re looking for someone who can work effectively as part of a team but also take responsibility for running their own department. You’ll be able to confidently communicate department strategy and performance to the team and different levels of management up to Board. Main Responsibilities • You will take ownership of trading the Kids & Accessories department; managing stocks, forecasting key lines on linecards and placing repeats as well as working with brands on cancellations. • Planning future ranges - working with the buying team and brands to put together the strongest possible range • Ownership of planning system - managing stock and OTB effectively • Build relationships with key brands • Producing and analysing weekly reports • Producing and analysing information for meetings including sign offs • Planning promotions and markdowns on the department • Planning intake on the department to ensure sales are maximised and stock flow is optimal as well as within warehouse weekly targets • Building relationships with internal stakeholders, particularly • Buying and (not limited to) web, supply chain • Management of team and responsibility for teams workload • Training and development of your team in line with department and individual objectives • Contributing in meetings with senior management through presenting figures and providing information when needed , What we are offering you, We’re all passionate about the products we have here at OFFICE, we have an amazing group of individuals that help contribute to our success.
