The Role:
We are looking for a highly organised and product-driven individual with a passion for luxury fashion and accessories. This Junior Product Merchandiser role brings together product development, merchandising strategy, market analysis, and operational support. Acting as a key link between Design, Development, Production, Commercial, Marketing, and Retail, you will play a critical role in building compelling collections, optimising product performance, and ensuring smooth information flow across the business.
This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical ability, a love for product, and a collaborative approach who is eager to contribute to every stage of the product lifecycle β from concept to customer.
This role is offered Hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days per week from the office and upto 2 days per week from home.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Seasonal Planning & Development:
- Creation of seasonal collection brief through analysis of past performance, market trends and sales feedback.
- Develop seasonal frameworks focusing on assortment balance (styles, SKUs, functionality, price points).
- Partner with Design, Development, and Costings to ensure briefs are delivered on time, to margin and in line with strategy.
- Create, maintain and update Range Grids and all collection related documentation or systems (Prima, NuOrder).
- Manage product samples, including organisation, tracking, photography and coordination with sampling teams.
Competitor & Market Research:
- Conduct ongoing competitor analysis to identify opportunities in product mix, functionality, materials, price positioning and sustainability.
- Monitor wider market trends and report findings to inform design and merchandising strategies.
- Conduct regular competitor pricing analysis in the UK and worldwide.
- Visit stores regularly to evaluate customer experience, product performance, and competitor positioning.
Buying Sessions & Go-to-Market:
- Prepare global buying sessions, including collection edits, creation of sales tools (presentations, range grids, drop plan, NuOrder matrices) and sample management.
- Present collections to sales and retail teams, ensuring clear communication of product strategy and features.
- Partner with Visual Merchandising, Digital Team, Press & Marketing to keep them informed of the status of the product and samples and, if necessary, take relevant actions
Sales Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct sales reporting, highlighting product performance, key trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Partner with Buying & Merchandising teams to gather feedback from global stores and regional partners.
- Deliver hindsight analysis post buying session.
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support commercial decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as a bridge between Design, Development, Production and Commercial teams, ensuring smooth information flow.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Press, and Digital teams to select product for campaigns, e-commerce, and training and maximize key products visibility.
- Support the creation of training documents, product manuals, and internal presentations.

Skills and Experience Required:
- 3β4 yearsβ experience in Product Merchandising, ideally within Leather Goods & Accessories.
- Strong product sensibility with an awareness of luxury fashion trends and the competitive landscape.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint.
- Acute attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy and quality in all work.
- Experience using PLM systems and digital selling platforms (Prima, NuOrder, Joor) is an advantage.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; confident working cross-functionally.
- A strong team player with a collaborative, hands-on and solutions-driven approach.
