Role description
Job Purpose: To drive strategic growth and profitability by managing and developing strong partnerships with key distributors across offline and online channels—including fashion and luxury retailers, e-retailers, duty-free operators, and other key accounts. The role focuses on building long-term relationships, optimizing sales performance, and ensuring brand consistency across multiple distribution platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Growth
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with key distributors, fashion retailers, e-retailers, and duty-free operators.
• Own the annual business plans for each account, including sales forecasts, promotional plans, and commercial terms.
• Lead joint business planning sessions with partners to align on growth objectives and commercial priorities.
Sales Performance & Forecasting
• Achieve sales targets, profitability goals, and market share growth across assigned accounts.
• Analyze sell-in and sell-out performance and propose corrective actions where necessary.
• Monitor and manage stock levels, order cycles, and replenishment plans to ensure availability and optimize inventory.
Channel Strategy & Execution
• Collaborate with marketing and trade teams to execute brand and product strategies across each account.
• Customize promotional plans per account/channel while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
• Ensure consistency in brand representation, pricing, and assortment across all distributor channels.
E-commerce Focus
• Drive e-retail strategy across platforms such as Amazon, Namshi, and Zalando (or market-relevant players).
• Monitor digital shelf performance (content, reviews, visibility), optimizing the online customer experience.
• Coordinate with internal e-commerce teams to ensure seamless execution of digital campaigns and activations.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure account needs are met.
• Partner with logistics and demand planning to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Reporting & Insights
• Provide regular business performance reports and competitive analysis.
• Offer insights on customer trends, pricing dynamics, and new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in key account management or sales, ideally in luxury, fashion, beauty, or FMCG.
• Proven experience managing both brick-and-mortar and online distributor accounts.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital retail KPIs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and CRM/sales tools; familiarity with retail analytics platforms is a plus.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
