About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our E-Commerce Products team. The ideal candidate will develop a deep understanding of our e-commerce products, user journeys, and technical platforms and integrations. Leveraging this knowledge, you will assist in the development and implementation of business solutions, working closely with Product Owners and Technical Teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and create the requirements specifications documents, and detailed user stories.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including product & technical owners and other subject matter experts, to gather and document business requirements.
• Conduct workshops and meetings to understand business needs and challenges.
• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop detailed functional requirements specifications.
• Create user stories, use cases, and workflows to support development activities.
• Work closely with the developers and QA teams to validate acceptance criteria, modify and split requirements as necessary, and participate in estimation and iteration planning sessions.
• Coordinate with other BAs and teams to understand and define end-to-end requirements across multiple project teams and systems.
• Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Assist the team in making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition.
• Present project demos to stakeholders and all team members to ensure alignment and transparency.
Qualifications
• 2-4 years of experience in the business analysis field, preferably FinTech industry.
• Experience with software delivery and life cycle, including gathering and developing detailed functional requirement, breaking down complex requirements into independent user stories, capturing detailed acceptance criteria, building a release plan with user stories, managing backlog, running showcases and incorporating user feedback.
• Familiarity with the technical aspects of software development, including understanding the capabilities and limitations of programming languages, and a knowledge of testing (System, Unit, Integration, Interface)
• An understanding of data modelling, object modelling, and OO design principles
• Successfully applied Agile/XP/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar
