Job Description We are looking for a Lead Product Owner to join the eCommerce Development team, based from NEXT Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire with a competitive salary range of £59,000 - £69,000 and great benefits! The Development team plays a key role within the eCommerce department, constantly working to improve our websites and mobile app to deliver a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our customers. From enhancing site performance and functionality to implementing new features and technologies, the team ensures our eCommerce platforms are fast, reliable, and customer focused. About the Role: As a Lead Product Owner within the eCommerce Development Team, you will be responsible for leading a digital product area (such as Marketing Technologies) and working collaboratively with a mixture of both systems and business teams. You will be the PO expert and lead a team of product owners to deliver NEXT Online’s Digital vision, tracking key project success KPIs and continual analysis of features delivered and their impact to the customer experience. What else is involved? • Fundamentally, you will be supporting the Head of Product / Product Channel Manager in taking ownership of a stream delivering multiple projects, detailing delivery plans, capturing key project milestones and dependencies • Working closely with both business and technology teams to coordinate a phased approach, delivering value at pace and learnings early on in the project lifecycle. • Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and translate into detailed requirements, considering potential risks attached to suggestions you have made. • Shape project success criteria and KPIs, alongside written documentation to support your work and present to stakeholders when necessary. • Understanding customer needs through feedback and analysis, ensuring that data is at the heart of all decisions. • Implement key Agile / SCRUM ceremonies, representing your project and be the key driver in enabling the development teams to progress. About You: • Hands-on experience of product ownership within retail, having worked in the digital / ecommerce sector. • Thought leader in digital space, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. • Can quickly and accurately identify any issues or risks associated with a project as well as implementing a solution. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences. • A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change. • Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach to defining success supported by analytical data • Experience of working in Agile environments and working with Agile / SCRUM methodologies. • Highly motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude, who is able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. • Google for business / Mircrosoft Office proficient. • Not essential: experience using Agile tools such as ADO, TFS / JIRA or similar • eCommerce PIM systems experience beneficial You’ll be doing all this from our Head Office in Leicester.
