Role Overview
We're looking for an organised and detail-oriented Live Shopping Assistant to help shape and manage our daily Live Shopping events. You'll play a key role in flawlessly executing our live events across our studio locations, ensuring that each show runs smoothly, reaches sales targets and aligns with brand goals.
This role involves working closely with multiple teams—production, talent, and account managers—to ensure each show is well-prepped and effectively executed. The role also includes being hands-on in the studio, helping to produce live events, so flexibility with evening and weekend work is essential (for example, your day may start at 2pm and end at 10pm).
Key Responsibilities
• Set Up Daily Live Shows
Assist with the smooth running of daily TikTok Live Shopping events. This involves ensuring the set is clean and organised, technical equipment is set up and ready for use, and presenters are clearly briefed with the plan for each show.
• Coordinate Lives as They Happen
Prepare and manage reactive deals and giveaways based on audience interaction during live. Cue and support presenters from behind the scenes and troubleshoot any problems that may arise. This requires being comfortable analysing data and taking action when certain metrics move. Our events often take place during evenings and some weekends, so flexible working is required.
• Cross-Team Collaboration
Communicate effectively with presenters to ensure a clear briefing of plans for each Live event. Coordinate with brand account managers to align show plans with brand pricing and styles. Coordinate with the wider Live team to ensure every aspect of the live event is executed seamlessly.
Who You Are
• Exceptionally organised and methodical, able to juggle multiple live event schedules with ease. You are a natural multitasker.
• An eye for visual design and merchandising.
• A team player, comfortable working with diverse stakeholders—from presenters to production crew.
• Hands-on and flexible, willing to jump in and support live event execution when needed.
• A clear and professional communicator, You work well with different teams and can clearly explain plans, priorities, and next steps.
• A hard worker. Keen to learn and improve. This is more important than any qualification or experience.
Nice to Have
• Familiarity with TikTok and TikTok Shop
• Previous experience working in a start-up or live event production.
