About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with a strong focus on Magento Development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high quality eCommerce solutions using Magento. This role requires a deep understanding of Magento architecture, customization, and best practices to enhance our online platform and improve user experience. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain eCommerce applications using Magento. • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. • Implement and manage Magento extensions and third party integrations. • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. • Debug and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Magento and eCommerce. • Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications. Mandatory Skills: • Strong expertise in Magento Development (Magento 2 preferred). • Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Experience with Magento theming and module development. • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). • Solid understanding of eCommerce best practices and user experience design. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Preferred Skills: • Experience with other eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce). • Knowledge of front end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js). • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure). • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 5 7 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Magento. • Proven ability to deliver high quality software solutions on time. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
