They are seeking a Magento Developer to work in a LAMP development environment, build Magento Community websites, and integrate data with various platforms while ensuring clean and well-documented code. Responsibilities: • Working daily in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, JQuery, and with the Zend Framework. • Building Magento Community websites and other platforms. • Converting PSDs into pixel-perfect custom PHP sites. • Resolving cross-browser compatibility issues. • Writing cleanly structured and well-documented code. • Integrating data with Sage, QuickBooks, WordPress, Salesforce, and APIs in general and ERP/stock management systems. • Working with LAMP development environment and version control GIT/SVN. Qualifications: Required: • An expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, and CSS3. • The ability to convert PSDs to Magento sites. • The ability to work in a LAMP development environment. • The ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at the same time. • Great attention to detail and a highly organized work style. • The ability to articulate yourself professionally. • Excellent written and spoken English. • The ability to adapt in a diverse and multicultural environment. • The availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST. • A positive and upbeat attitude. • The passion to build a startup. • A reliable workstation with a fast computer, microphone, and speakers, reliable internet and power if working remotely. Preferred: • A portfolio with live links to sites that you have developed previously. • A Magento Certification. • Expertise in other platforms such as WordPress.
