Role description
Position Description
As a Marketing Analytics Analyst supporting the Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics, you will play a key role in building dashboards, analyzing data, and partnering with cross-functional teams to evaluate the performance of digital campaigns, customer behavior, and key business trends. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex data into actionable insights and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
General Duties And Responsibilities
β’ Build and maintain recurring dashboards and performance scorecards for marketing and eCommerce KPIs using tools such as Power BI and Google Analytics.
β’ Develop and maintain analytical models and datasets, including those built on multidimensional cubes (OLAP) to support dynamic slicing and advanced analysis.
β’ Apply experience working with Microsoft Fabric to develop and integrate enterprise analytics workflows.
β’ Explore and implement natural language interfaces (e.g., Power BI Q&A) to enable intuitive access to insights.
β’ Conduct analysis on campaign performance, customer journeys, web traffic, and conversion trends to identify key drivers and opportunities.
β’ Assist in developing data inputs for marketing forecasts, channel performance trends, and scenario planning models.
β’ Collaborate with Finance to ensure assumptions and projections are aligned across departments.
β’ Monitor and validate data quality across multiple platforms; ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of reported metrics.
β’ Partner with data engineering to troubleshoot and enhance data infrastructure as needed.
β’ Support attribution modeling efforts, including first-touch, last-touch, and multi-touch attribution.
β’ Assist in evaluating incrementality via geo-lift or other controlled measurement methodologies.
β’ Work with Marketing, eCommerce, Product, Finance, and Sales teams to gather requirements and deliver impactful insights.
β’ Provide data-driven support for marketing strategy, customer segmentation, and personalization initiatives.
Education And Experience
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
β’ 2β4 years of experience in a data or marketing analytics role.
β’ Proficiency in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets.
β’ Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
β’ Familiarity with Google Analytics (preferably GA4) and campaign performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience working with Microsoft Fabric and Synapse within the analytics ecosystem.
β’ Hands-on experience building or querying multidimensional cubes (OLAP) for business analysis.
β’ Knowledge of A/B testing frameworks and marketing attribution models.
β’ Exposure to predictive modeling or customer segmentation techniques.
β’ Familiarity with natural language interfaces or tools (e.g., Power BI Q&A) is a plus.
β’ Basic understanding of Python or R is a plus.
