The Position: Marketing Assistant Location: Chicago, IL (Headquarters) Position Overview We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team across a range of initiatives. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in marketing while contributing to campaign execution, content coordination, reporting, and day-to-day team operations. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to help keep projects organized and running smoothly. Key Responsibilities • Campaign Support: Assist in building, testing, and scheduling for email and SMS marketing campaigns • Asset Management & Advertising Support: Oversee the organization and release of creative assets across UGC, print, and digital channels to support vendor, store, and campaign needs • Website Support: Learn how to update Shopify and Replo websites, including adding new content, landing pages, and images • Project Coordination: Field marketing requests from store teams; Track tasks and coordinate distribution and feedback loop with respective teams • Influencer & PR Coordination: Coordinate and place sample orders for influencers, press, and PR initiatives • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor campaign performance and website traffic using tools such as Google Analytics; compile performance summaries and maintain a tracker for quarterly goals • Documentation & Planning: Support the Marketing Manager in creating and maintaining quarterly and annual campaign documentation • Handle administrative duties as requested or needed • Industry Knowledge: Stay current on marketing best practices, market trends, and consumer insights; conduct competitive analysis as needed Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. • 1-2 years of marketing experience or relevant internship in marketing, communications, or a similar area. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with marketing tools (e.g. Klaviyo, Canva, Google Analytics, etc.) is a plus. • Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong communication skills and attention to detail. The starting pay for this position is $45,000 - $50,000 annually, and may be adjusted based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
