Role description
This role will play an instrumental part in crafting and maintaining cutting-edge marketing automation solutions aimed at enhancing lifecycle marketing efforts. Working in close collaboration with multifaceted teams, you will leverage your expertise in HTML, front-end development, and data-driven marketing technologies to spearhead the implementation and optimization of marketing campaigns. Role And Responsibilities
· Develop and optimize responsive email templates using HTML, and AMPscript to ensure mobile-friendly and accessible designs. Maintain consistency in branding, accessibility, and performance across marketing assets.
· Design and Develop Automation Workflows: Architect and implement advanced automation workflows and triggered communications that seamlessly integrate with both internal and external data sources, ensuring high data accuracy and reliability across all campaigns.
· End-to-End Campaign Management: Drive the full campaign lifecycle, from data architecture, scripting, and rigorous testing to deployment, ensuring all technical deliverables align with business objectives and KPIs.
· Advanced SQL Development: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and transform large datasets for segmentation, reporting, and automation, ensuring exceptional query performance and accuracy.
· Systems Integration Expertise: Manage and enhance integrations between the marketing automation platform (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and external systems such as CRMs, e-commerce platforms, and customer data platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and robust connectivity.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, data engineering, and data science teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while optimizing platform usage for better ROI.
· Platform Optimization: Oversee the configuration and performance optimization of the marketing automation platform, including API integrations, data models, and automation triggers, to achieve efficiency and scalability.
· Technical Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues across workflows, integrations, and data synchronization processes, providing expert-level support when necessary.
Qualifications
· 8+ years in marketing automation or related technical fields, with expert-level proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) required.
· Proven expertise in SQL for advanced audience segmentation and data manipulation.
· Strong understanding of email rendering best practices across devices, clients, and platforms.
· Proven expertise in HTML and AMPscript for designing and developing responsive email templates, landing pages, and dynamic content experiences.
· Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or comparable customer data platforms for managing personalization, segmentation, and data flows.
· Skilled in HTML and CSS for creating and refining responsive email templates with attention to design and usability.
· Familiarity with email builder tools (e.g., Salesforce Content Builder, Litmus, Stensul), collaboration tools (e.g., Figma), and project management systems (e.g., Workfront).
· Strong track record of implementing process enhancements that improve efficiency and scalability.
· Data-driven mindset with a deep understanding of metrics, analysis, and actionable insights.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
