This position requires a detail-oriented, data-driven professional who can manage external agency relationships, oversee campaign execution, and ensure alignment with business objectives. The role involves analyzing performance data, driving optimizations, and ensuring fiscal accountability through rigorous budget management. Additionally, the specialist will support emerging media opportunities, manage direct publisher relationships, and contribute to the strategic growth of paid media initiatives. This is a 3-month hybrid contract role based in Ventura, CA, with potential for extension. Type: Contract, Hybrid Schedule: Regular business hours Duration: 3+ months Pay: $32 - $35/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible Marketing Campaign Specialist (Customer Acquisition) Requirements • 2+ years of experience managing digital media campaigns through agencies or in-house teams. • Familiarity with digital ad platforms such as Google Ads, Reddit Ads, DSPs/Programmatic Display, Pinterest Ads, and Snapchat Ads. • Proficiency with GA4 and strong understanding of marketing attribution platforms. • Deep knowledge of digital advertising strategy and paid media ecosystem. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex performance data into actionable business recommendations. • Experience managing agency or partner workstreams, ensuring accountability and excellence. • Highly process- and detail-oriented, with focus on governance, workflow efficiency, and operational rigor. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. • Experience in eCommerce required; apparel industry experience preferred. Marketing Campaign Specialist (Customer Acquisition) Duties • Act as primary liaison with external agencies overseeing paid social, video, and programmatic campaigns, escalating strategic recommendations as needed. • Evaluate campaign performance, review insights from agency partners, and ensure optimizations align with overall business objectives. • Manage acquisition marketing budgets, including forecasting, pacing, reconciling planned vs. actual spend, and maintaining fiscal accountability. • Ensure operational excellence by auditing trafficking sheets, UTM structures, and audience build-outs for compliance with best practices. • Collaborate with agencies to identify emerging media opportunities, competitive strategies, and innovative placements; support the RFP process for new vendors. • Manage direct publisher relationships where applicable, overseeing contracts, tracking implementation, and performance reporting.
