At TRIO, we help people take their internet to the ends of the earth. We manufacture and create the most trusted and recommended mounts and accessories for Starlink. Our products are on offroad vehicles, boats, RVs, vans, fire trucks, military vehicles and just about anything else that moves. TRIO is being used on 6/7 continents (if you are in Antarctica, we’d love to get you a mount!) in the most rugged conditions, enabling exploration and connectivity for every use case. Starlink’s growth has been explosive and TRIO is growing in lockstep.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator who wants to try and do it all. We care about hustle and execution more than relying on what’s worked before. We want a tinkerer that envisions themselves discovering the next viral growth ecomm hack. Taste is important to us, and you’re just as excited about creating unique content as you are about pouring over analytics to figure out what channels to double down on. This role will require zooming out to set strategy while coming back down to earth to implement it.
You likely consider yourself an obsessive person, and when you see a rabbit hole that just might work, you dive in. Dying to start your own brand, but might not have the idea or resources yet? This role just might satiate some of that desire. Being organized is a must… along with being creative, a self starter (and finisher), and most importantly, a team player.
We are looking for this person to be excited about all of these things rather than having already accomplished each one. This role is perfect for someone that wants to take on a chunk of responsibility while they’re growing and learn what it takes to grow a brand on the job.
Some things you do need to have some experience in:
• Ecommerce marketing - ideally in a growth, creative, or execution focused role for a fast growing brand
• Some form of responsibility of a digital marketing channel (Social, SEO, email/sms, paid media, etc)
• Visibility and basic understanding of Ecommerce KPIs / metrics (impressions only tell part of the story!)
This is the first marketing hire we are making, and the day to day will be all over the place (you should be excited about that!). Some things you might do in a given week are:
• Build relationships online directly with customers to ultimately get them to become advocates for TRIO
• Create the process document for executing an email and other campaign
• A/B test a new landing page on the website
• Shoot iPhone content for a social post in a remote location
• Pour over survey responses to better understand who our customers are and how / where we can better serve and reach them
• Build customer-facing, channel-specific marketing content to fit within a predetermined strategy
This role will stretch you and require a lot of ownership. However, we are realistic about the goals and objectives this person is taking on. This future marketing leader isn’t expected to have all of the answers on day one (or any day!), but isn’t scared to ask, learn, and search.
