Job description:
eCommerce and Marketing Manager
We are seeking an IN-HOUSE creative and strategic eCommerce Manager to grow our on- line sales and increase market share. Must have on-line sales experience working with technical and tangible items.
Responsibilities include:
Dramatically increase traffic, conversion, and profitability.
Manage the day to day site and channel operations while working closely with the Sales Management team.
Oversee the marketing team and delegate accordingly.
Stay current on the latest eCommerce and trends to keep the brand fresh and growing.
Develop and execute a digital marketing and eCommerce strategy that focuses on revenue generation with short and long term KPIs.
Develop and manage execution of SEO/SEM campaigns to successfully increase the companyβs visibility in search engine results.
Recommend and manage budgets for Pay Per Click and online ads based on current eCommerce status, constantly maximizing ROI
Expertly build search network ad campaigns that optimize keyword performance
Continuously optimize creative message strategies using PPC to increase performance, testing message content, images, offers, landing pages, frequency, segments, and more
Partner with vendors for upcoming campaigns.
Perform other duties as assigned in a timely manner.
Required Skills:
Proven success managing and growing eCommerce stores
Experience managing others and leveraging resources with effective cross team communications
Understanding of how to measure and manage programs.
Ability to analyze existing data, email campaigns, social media and any digital marketing efforts and provide feedback, suggestions and implementation strategies
Ability to write various types of copy used on the web (product descriptions, blog posts, emails).
5+ years of hands-on B2B experience required
Successful track-record developing digital marketing plans, executing, measuring, and delivering on performance targets
Understanding of email marketing best practices in the retail space
Experience with optimizing web pages (title tags, meta descriptions, headers)
Reporting on various metrics is needed. (You must know how to analyze the data.)
Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop / Illustrator).
Maintain consistent User Experience throughout different marketplaces including desktop site, tablet, mobile site, and mobile app.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
