Role Overview
As our B2B Marketing Manager, you will be the driving force behind building our brand’s authority in the eCommerce space. Through strategic content creation, event management, and data-driven campaigns, you’ll help position us as the go-to partner for scaling Shopify merchants. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a proven track record in creating fame for service-based businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Content Marketing
• Develop and execute a content strategy that positions us as thought leaders in the Shopify ecosystem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality case studies, testimonials, blog posts, and white papers.
• Manage the content calendar across channels, including social media, email, and our website.
• Ensure all marketing copy meets brand standards and effectively communicates our value propositions.
Brand Awareness & PR
• Identify and execute PR opportunities, including thought leadership articles, podcast appearances, and media placements.
• Build relationships with key industry journalists and influencers.
• Drive award submissions to elevate our brand credibility and visibility.
Event Management
• Plan and execute webinars, workshops, and industry events to engage with prospects and clients.
• Partner with the sales team to identify event opportunities that drive lead generation.
• Oversee promotional campaigns for events, including email marketing, social media, and paid ads.
Demand Generation
• Implement targeted marketing strategies to attract highly qualified leads.
• Oversee performance marketing efforts, including LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and retargeting campaign delivered by our specialist.
• Track and report on our website’s SEO and conversion rates to ensure a steady flow of inbound leads.
Data & Insights
• Track and analyse key marketing metrics (e.g., lead quality, campaign ROI) to refine strategies.
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify new opportunities.
• Regularly report on campaign performance and share actionable insights with leadership.
Team Collaboration
• Work closely with the sales team to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
• Collaborate with our creative team to ensure brand consistency across all campaigns.
• Partner with external vendors and consultants (e.g., SEO experts, PPC agencies) to maximise impact.
About You
We’re looking for a proactive, results-driven marketer with:
• 5+ years in B2B marketing, preferably in the digital agency or eCommerce space.
• Ability to craft and execute marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
• A knack for creating compelling content that resonates with a B2B audience.
• Skilled in using analytics to inform decisions and optimise campaigns.
• Proven track record of organising and promoting successful events.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn Ads.
