Media/Communications Manager 4: 15850 Start/End Dates: 6+ months Location: Plano, TX Schedule: Hybrid, 4 days in office, Friday remote Top skills: • Media planning, audience targeting • Media campaign management and optimization • Media measurement evaluation • Media budget management Summary: The main function of a Communications Specialist is to assist corporate communications with message development, writing, and editing. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring timely, creative and accurate dissemination of news, multimedia content and information as well as create a variety of content for platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy and effective storytelling that aligns with corporate messaging Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data. This individual will work closely with our client's product corporate sales team to write and finalize monthly and annual press release. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and manage the paid media and communications strategies that will drive customer loyalty and acquisition, increase engagement, and improve conversion rates • Collaborate with brand and creative teams to develop and implement paid media and on- and off-site digital content strategy that drives creative innovation and improves our product storytelling through digital channels • Utilize customer analysis to optimize marketing programs and improve audience development of media programs • Support the Marketing leadership and Finance teams with planning and forecasting of the paid media channels • Manage reporting framework that effectively captures program performance and produces actionable run-of-business channel optimizations • Analyze, distribute and present performance findings while being able to clearly and concisely communicate program and channel performance and progress against goals in a cross-functional setting • Effectively manage and collaborate with external agency partners to ensure best in class agency management and integrated marketing agency execution Functional Responsibilities: • Lead the strategic development and execution for paid marketing channels (TV, Display, Digital Video, Paid Social, OOH, etc.) • Develop actionable channel strategies and a strategic media plan that drives consistent and cost-effective demand initiatives with a focus on brand awareness, customer growth and improved purchase frequency of existing customers while driving scale to maintain performance targets • Develop full-funnel acquisition strategies taking into consideration audience targeting and segmentation, content and messaging testing, and conversion optimization • Manage paid media budget, aligned with strategic objectives, and monitoring spend, and ROI based on identified KPIs. • Manage external agency, vendor and marketing technology relationships to progress overall media capabilities and marketing strategies through ongoing testing and optimization • Act as a subject matter expert on all things paid media oriented Required Experience and Qualifications: • A positive “all-hands-on-deck” attitude and willingness to get the job done • Interest in rolling up your sleeves and executing just as much as developing strategy • Passion for problem solving and digging into analytics to identify solutions and areas of optimization • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing or other related fields preferred • 8+ years of successful experience across paid media strategy and execution • Proven experience developing and managing comprehensive paid media strategies as well as planning for day-to-day operations • A strong understanding and proficiency with eCommerce and marketing platforms, and the ability to interpret and understand performance metrics • Comfortable consuming large amounts of data and identifying clear opportunities enhance customer experience and grow company profitability • Able to pivot strategically based on campaign and channel performance • Proven experience leading, developing and mentoring teams, including managing direct and indirect reports • Experience managing external agencies and partners • Excellent communication and project management skills • Able to transform detailed analysis into straightforward summaries for cross-functional partners • Strong presentation and communications skills to present proposed strategies effectively to senior executives • Works collaboratively with team members to achieve deliverables • Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. • Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time. • Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. • Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
