What Youβll Do
Inventory Strategy & Planning
β’ Develop and execute inventory investment strategies that support revenue and margin goals across all channels.
β’ Build and maintain demand forecasts and seasonal buy plans, aligning inventory decisions with sales trends, category performance, and financial targets.
β’ Own and optimize the Open-to-Buy (OTB) framework to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time.
β’ Establish seasonal and replenishment planning strategies for both new launches and evergreen programs.
Omnichannel Inventory Management
β’ Manage inventory allocation and replenishment across e-commerce, wholesale, and key retail accounts.
β’ Partner with operations and logistics to monitor lead times, stock transfers, and fulfillment efficiencies.
β’ Develop strategies for pre-orders, backorders, and inventory flow to support peak periods.
Data-Driven Insights & Reporting
β’ Analyze sell-through, inventory turnover, and GMROI, identifying risks and opportunities.
β’ Build and maintain dashboards to track inventory health, in-stock rates, and category performance.
β’ Present inventory and sales performance regularly to leadership, recommending actionable strategies to optimize growth and margin.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
β’ Work closely with merchandising, product development, and marketing to ensure alignment between inventory and brand strategy.
β’ Partner with wholesale teams to align buys with retailer demand and seasonal cycles.
β’ Collaborate with finance to integrate inventory forecasts with cash flow planning and revenue targets.
What Youβll Bring
β’ 4-6 years of experience in merchandise planning, allocation, or inventory planning, ideally within an omnichannel fashion or DTC startup environment.
β’ Proven track record with Open-to-Buy (OTB), demand forecasting, and inventory modeling.
β’ Strong analytical and financial acumen, with advanced Excel skills (experience with Looker/Tableau or ERP systems like NetSuite a plus).
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and build planning processes from the ground up.
β’ Excellent cross-functional communication and a collaborative mindset.
Why Join Us?
β’ Be the foundational planning hire, shaping the systems and processes that will scale a $15M brand into its next growth chapter.
