Role description
Weโ€™re hiring for a leading global brand expanding across the Middle East. As Assistant Merchandising Manager, youโ€™ll drive forecasting, assortment planning, and in-season trading for the region. This role sits at the intersection of data, product, and commercial performance, ideal for someone who thrives on owning the numbers and making decisions that impact revenue. What Youโ€™ll Be Doing: โ€ข Lead seasonal forecasting and OTB planning to ensure the right products land at the right time. โ€ข Monitor and trade in-season performance, optimizing stock levels, markdowns, and margin. โ€ข Collaborate with buying, planning, sales, and product teams on regional assortment and sell-in. โ€ข Act as a product and market expert, gathering insights and aligning strategy to local consumer needs. What Weโ€™re Looking For: โ€ข 5+ years in merchandising, planning, or buying within fashion, or lifestyle or sports retail. โ€ข Strong forecasting and analytical skills using Excel, MFP, Oracle, Power BI, or similar. โ€ข A commercial mindset with experience in building and trading assortments. โ€ข Knowledge of the Middle East retail landscape is a strong advantage.
