Employment Type: Full-Time - Monday to Friday
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum
Are you passionate about ecommerce, product presentation, and creating an exceptional online customer experience? My client is looking for a Website Merchandiser to join their growing team and play a pivotal role in shaping how our products are showcased online.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end setup of new products across both B2B and B2C websites.
• Write SEO-friendly, engaging product descriptions and upload high-quality imagery.
• Accurately categorise and price products to drive visibility, conversion, and sales.
• Create and maintain promotional banners, landing pages, and onsite messaging.
• Oversee affiliate feeds, ensuring accuracy across external sales channels.
• Collaborate with video agencies to integrate product videos that boost engagement.
• Support marketing campaigns through onsite scheduling and merchandising.
• Write blog content aligned with industry trends and SEO best practices.
• Use tools like Google Analytics and Phocas to analyse customer behaviour and performance.
• Recommend and implement site improvements based on data-driven insights.
• Brief new functionality and assist with testing ecommerce developments.
What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years’ experience in an ecommerce or merchandising role.
• Strong working knowledge of B2C and B2B ecommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, Magento).
• Exceptional writing skills with an eye for SEO, tone, and grammar.
• Experience managing content within a CMS environment.
• Confident interpreting data using Google Analytics, Phocas, or similar tools.
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is beneficial.
• Experience with affiliate feeds or channel management is desirable.
