Key Responsibilities Product Presentation & Optimization: • Curate and maintain the product catalog, ensuring strategic product placement and categorization on the website. • Optimize product pages for search engines (SEO) to drive traffic and improve product visibility. • Ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate and consistent. Sales & Promotion Management: • Develop and execute seasonal merchandising plans and promotional campaigns. • Manage markdowns, clearance strategies, and other pricing adjustments to drive sales. • Utilize personalization and recommendation tools to enhance product discovery. Data Analysis & Reporting: • Analyze customer behavior, sales performance data, and market trends to inform strategic decisions. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of merchandising strategies. • Prepare reports outlining business performance and merchandising effectiveness. Collaboration: • Work with marketing, content, and product teams to ensure a cohesive and appealing customer experience. • Collaborate with IT and development teams to improve site functionality and user experience. Essential Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills: • Proficiency with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), content management systems (CMS), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Analytical Skills: • Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations. Digital Marketing Knowledge: • Understanding of SEO principles, digital marketing strategies, and online customer behavior. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often required, along with proven experience in ecommerce merchandising.
