Role description
Weโ€™re seeking a detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser with exceptional expertise in data analysis, stock management, and strategic planning, stock allocation and forecasting . Strong communication skills are a must have for this role.ย ย Youโ€™ll leverage analytics to drive inventory decisions, forecast demand, and ensure optimal stock allocation across channels. Key Responsibilities: 1. Data Analysis & Forecasting - Analyze sales trends, inventory turnover, and market data to forecast demand. - Develop data-backed seasonal and regional stock plans to meet business goals. - Identify risks/opportunities using predictive analytics and historical performance. 1. Stock Management & Allocation - Optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts, overstock, and markdowns. - Allocate stock strategically across e-commerce, retail stores, and warehouses based on real-time demand. - Collaborate with supply chain and store teams to ensure timely replenishment and feedback. 1. Planning & Strategy - Create seasonal merchandise plans aligned with sales targets and product launches. - Partner with design, marketing, and buying teams to align inventory with trends and campaigns. - Develop markdown/promotion strategies to maximize sell-through and margin. 1. Reporting & Communication - Generate weekly/monthly reports on stock performance, sell-through rates, and inventory health. - Present actionable insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. - Collaborate with finance to align stock budgets with financial forecasts. 1. Process Improvement - Stay ahead of industry trends in merchandising tools and AI-driven solutions. - Recommend system enhancements to streamline inventory workflows. Qualifications: Must-Have - Bachelorโ€™s degree in Merchandising, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field. - 3+ years in fashion merchandising, with a focus on โ€ข โ€ข data analysis, stock planning, and allocation โ€ข โ€ข . - Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and ERP systems (e.g., SAP). - Experience with inventory management software. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred: - Degree or certifications in Data Analytics/Supply Chain. - Knowledge of omnichannel retail dynamics. - Familiarity with AI/ML applications in demand forecasting.ย ย
