Overview
Support the Merchandising Retail and Wholesale team to plan and deliver βbest of Bodenβ ranges in Partnerships.
Location: 4 - 5 days per week based at our North Acton Office.
What You Will Do
Planning
β’ Plan an optimum range that delivers against the financials and aligns to Directs big ideas, category mixes and growth plans.
β’ Optimum range size and phasing always considering Customer mindset (Seasonal timings, End Use, Pricing) and Selling channels (Online, stores, wholesale, marketplace).
β’ Range appeal to all Partners - Product & attribute architecture to support partner nuances e.g., print mix, price architecture, buy now wear now by Partner.
β’ Influence and communicate across functions to aid selling.
β’ Partner phasing requirements.
β’ Work closely with E-commerce Team to ensure images are ready and available to Partners.
β’ Lead Partner meetings.
Trading
β’ Present weekly trade performance, making recommendations that are action focused to optimise.
β’ Regular trade meetings with Partners to communicate Boden vision and ensure strategies are aligned.
OTB planning & phasing
β’ WSSI management.
β’ Ensure OTB generated satisfies the key KPIs.
β’ Seasonal strategy for offers.
β’ Critical path planning & management.
β’ Manage impact of returns.
Stock Management
β’ Adhere to stock plans by Partner and location.
β’ Allocation and Replenishment management.
β’ Recall management.
β’ WH capacity planning.
Systems & Processes
β’ Support implementation of S5 throughout the Business.
β’ Robust Monthly forecast review adhered to.
β’ Support data accuracy.
β’ Be vocal in challenging the status quo and offer solutions to improve the future.
β’ Consider requirements for future projects e.g., Retail, Wholesale, Marketplace.
β’ Active use and support of other tools provided by the business.
What We Are Looking For
β’ Ability to deputise for Merchandising Manager when required.
β’ Prior Merchandiser level experience within a Retail & Wholesale environment.
β’ Lead weekly 121βs with direct reports.
β’ Comfortable to delegate to enable learning within the teams.
β’ Highly analytical with attention to detail.
β’ Clear, consistent processes through the Critical Path with well communicated, timely deadlines.
β’ Build cross-functional relationships across Product, Finance, IT, Warehouse and Partners.
β’ Help mentor direct line reports and provide support to more junior members of the team.
β’ Clear communication and problem-solving skills.
β’ Great time management.
β’ Ability to multitask and work independently.
β’ Liaising with Direct teams to ensure order fulfilment and that changes are communicated to Partner clearly and in time.
β’ Chair regular Partner meeting to share Trade updates and insights into performance and explore ATS opportunities.
