The MerchOps Experimentation Senior Associate will partner directly with the MerchOps Director to own, iterate and advance the merchandising experimentation program. This role is central to shaping how customers experience our sportsbook by running structured experiments β from A/B tests to multivariate and design explorations β that drive personalization, UX improvements and commercial outcomes. The Senior Associate will work cross-functionally with Product, Risk & Trading, Tech, Commercial, and UX Analytics to prioritize, build, QA, monitor, and analyze experiments. They will be responsible for maintaining high visibility into the experimentation pipeline and backlog, ensuring proper test design, and turning results into clear, actionable insights.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

β’ Experimentation Backlog β Partner with the MerchOps Director to refine, prioritize and maintain the testing roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
β’ Intake & Triage β Manage the flow of ideas from stakeholders, confirming feasibility and fit within experimentation windows.
β’ Cross-functional Collaboration β Work with UXA, Product, Risk & Trading, Commercial & Tech to design sound experiments that balance user value with commercial outcomes.
β’ Setup & Launch β Configure tests in FanDuelβs CMS & Analytics platform, coordinating with Product/Tech on feature-flag deployment readiness, and ensure Merch Ops QA coverage before launch.
β’ Ongoing Monitoring β Conduct regular checks to confirm experiments are tracking correctly, sample sizes are growing as expected, guardrail metrics are stable and flag adjustments to partner teams as needed.
β’ Measurement & Reporting β Partner with UXA to deliver clear readouts on results, statistical significance and business impact, using reports and dashboards.
β’ Communication β Keep stakeholders informed via Slack, Confluence and quarterly summaries, ensuring visibility of in-flight and completed tests.
β’ Analysis & Decisioning β Drive go/no-go rollout recommendations, standardizing learnings across the Merch Ops team and feeding insights back into future prioritization.

β’ Minimum 3+ years of experience in an analytical position, ideally within digital marketplaces, ecommerce or sports betting.
β’ Experience with Amplitude Analytics is highly preferred.
β’ Excellent understanding of A/B testing methodology, hypothesis-driven work and metrics-based decision making.
β’ A strong grasp of product metrics and the latest techniques in measuring user experience and commercial performance.
β’ Comfort with CMS (Sanity preferred), feature flagging and analytical tools (Amplitude, Tableau, Confluence, JIRA)

The applicable salary range for this position is $72,000 - $90,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation.
