Job Summary:
J.Jill is a national lifestyle brand that provides apparel, footwear, and accessories designed for women. They are seeking a passionate and strategic Retail and Experiential Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategies and events that drive foot traffic and brand growth across their stores and online presence.
Responsibilities:
• Create and execute a high-impact event strategy that helps elevate the J. Jill brand, introduce us to new customers, drive traffic to our stores/website, and generate compelling content that can be leveraged across our marketing channels.
• Create 360 Marketing Strategies for new store opens to deliver customer file, traffic, and sales plans.
• Own existing store retail events strategy and execution to drive incremental customer trips and new to brand customer acquisition.
• Communicate clear and timely results of events and implications for future initiatives.
• Lead the internal creative agency on all things retail and event marketing to deliver compelling creative that drives engagement from target audiences to deliver retail and event marketing goals.
• Work directly with the paid digital, ecommerce and CRM teams to secure dedicated exposure for all retail and event marketing initiatives.
• Partner with retail operations team to leverage the field to implement marketing priorities in store (Brand Campaigns, Strategic Merchandising and Business Priorities, Promotions, Email/SMS Acquisition goals, etc.).
• Partner with the analytics team to provide a comprehensive and data driven results for retail and event tests that can inform all future plans.
• Manage the relationships with the developers and mall management to secure every brand-appropriate marketing asset available on behalf of each store to increase awareness of J.Jill and drive new customers.
• Own reporting on events and new stores including KPIs like customer file, traffic / sales, and retail marketing channel performance.
• Manage the expenses for all retail and event activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
• 5+ years of retail marketing experience
• Experience in developing and executing retail marketing or experiential/ event strategies
• Experience managing complex budgets effectively
• Excellent project management and analytical skills
• Ability to speak directly and confidently with all cross-functional partners
• Word, Excel, and strong PowerPoint skills
• Ability to travel to retail locations nationwide and J.Jill’s distribution center as needed up to 25%
• Light to moderate lifting up to 25 lbs may be required
