About the Role: As the eCommerce Pure-Play / Amazon National Account Manager, you’ll be a key player on Ferrero USA’s fast-growing and transformative eCommerce team. You’ll take ownership of driving accelerated growth for our Amazon business, focusing on new categories and emerging brands. Reporting to the Director of Amazon Sales, you’ll lead the development of strategy, customer relationships, and investment planning for your assigned brands and categories. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for Amazon, managing all sales-related activities and ensuring our brands show up powerfully in the digital marketplace. Main Responsibilities: • Develop holistic Amazon strategy for assigned Brands/category, full year sales, on-going business operations management and marketing execution with support from cross-functional teams (internal and external) • Achieve or exceed established sales and trade targets for customer while staying within budget. Deliver on all key growth drivers by business segment to grow market share. Identify new & profitable opportunities to improve the P&L of our Amazon business across Commercial and Supply Chain opportunities • Keep a close contact with Customer Services team (Supply Chain) to ensure proper processing of weekly Purchase Orders (POs) processing and collaborates with the broader supply chain team on the optimization of the distribution network that will enable the long-term growth of the Amazon business • Develop the Amazon portfolio strategy for assigned Brands/category, plans and budget to achieve goals. Collaborate with Brand and Trade Marketing teams to continue to evolve the Amazon range and pack types, achieve new item / fix-the-mix distribution goals including distribution targets; SRPs, and efficient product launches • Develop and execute promotional plans to achieve growth targets within budget. Collaborate with brand teams to secure funding for Amazon media programs and coordinate with cross-functional teams (brand, media, agencies) to develop and execute successful digital marketing efforts that drive traffic and conversation on the Amazon site. • Collaborate with the eCommerce Content team to manage ongoing everyday product updates, seasonal and new product launches including content, product images, item data uploads and merchandising • Develop KPIs to benchmark the Amazon business, perform ongoing analysis (digital shelf measurements, sales, merchandising and Amazon best practices) and deliver regular reporting to cross-functional teams and leadership • Use insights from Digital Shelf Measurement tools (e.g. Salsify, CommerceIQ) to track online execution performance, provide regular reporting to cross-functional teams and leadership, and drive on-going optimization Account Management • Support customer business reviews/Joint Business Plan updates, replenishment/supply chain reviews, and line reviews as required to achieve business results • Develop a strategic and consultative business relationship with key decision makers at Amazon and with our agency partners (e.g. Buyers, Amazon Vendor Services, Category Managers, Marketing teams, Agency Partners, Distributors) • Ability to understand and articulate operational insights of the customer to influence the broader Ferrero organization (local and global) to continue to drive internal change • Communicate competitive customer, product and marketplace issues and opportunities to cross-functional internal teams (local and global) • Maintains a high level of industry, category, customer and consumer expertise • Support develop annual customer plans and communicate progress internally via business / trade reviews, quarterly reviews to both US and Global leadership. Who we are looking for: • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business or related field; Master Degree a plus • 3-5+ years experience in eCommerce Sales; CPG experience a plus. • Experience working on and/or managing the Amazon account is required • Strong understanding of both the digital marketing and supporting eCommerce operational elements such as sales and inventory management, shipping, returns, customer service, etc. • A strong analytical background to support a test and learn approach while continually evolving and optimizing our Amazon business • A track record of successfully collaborating with other functional areas (marketing, IT, supply chain, finance, etc.) is required • Prior project management experience with proven ability to lead & motivate multi-functional teams. Track record of prioritizing and successfully delivering multiple initiatives on-time • Must be detail oriented with a bias towards action (self- starter) and comfortable with ambiguity • A willingness to be both strategic and provide a hands-on as needed approach is important to success in the role • Ability to work within a team as well as independently with limited supervision. • Must possess strong leadership and communication skills Compensation Data The base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
