The National Account Manager will be responsible for driving and developing a Joint Business Plan (JBP) with each assigned account, as outlined by the business unit’s strategy and annual business plans. This position is responsible for leading all activities associated with the account (sales, marketing and product supply) in partnership with the cross functional team members. The NAM will own the customer strategy and communication to the account. The NAM owns all customer-facing sales efforts and key stakeholder engagement across the Clorox Sales organization ensuring customer plans are communicated and executed with Clorox regional sales and manufacturer rep personnel. This means the NAM will translate their plan into actionable steps for local teams to execute and take accountability for follow through. In this role, you will: Customer Deliverables And Operational Responsibilities • Deliver the top line revenue target with assigned account. • Customer penetration at various levels with the account, as necessary to drive sales and influence Clorox agenda. • Utilize knowledge of IDNs and customer Go To Market strategy to navigate the healthcare selling landscape and maximize Clorox product visibility. • Drive strategic joint business plans with each account as laid out in annual business plans. • Act as the face of Clorox Healthcare at customer/industry shows and be able to organize messaging that resonates with industry leaders when called upon to present. • Manage trade funds associated with the account with no overspends. • Connect, gather and manage resources cross functionally as needed to drive volume at the account. • Business Planning and Strategy Development • Provide feedback and thought leadership to internal teams and BU leadership on customer needs, MedSurg channel dynamics, and competitive insights to organize resources and drive growth. • Develop and maintain customer sales rep relationships to identify new avenues to grow the Clorox Healthcare Business. • Execute the annual business plan for the Division and support the Division’s long range planning activities. Drive to a strategic intersection that prioritizes mutual growth for Clorox and the account. Leverage tools and data provided to deliver business plan objectives. • Ensure that your accounts have eCommerce Go-To-Market plans incorporated in their plans that appropriately utilizes eCommerce as a growth engine for our mutual business. Drive the Annual Field Sales Business Plan - Deliver Financial Targets • Own the annual National Account Planning process as defined by the GTM team and ensure that resulting volumes support the established business unit financial targets. • The National Account Manager will ensure agreed upon customer plans are not only communicated, but also executed on via ongoing collaboration with Clorox’s regional sales personnel and extended manufacturer rep teams. What we look for: Experience: • Minimum of 5 years of Healthcare and Distribution selling experience. • Strong understanding of IDNs, GPOs, and MedSurg Distribution. • Experience selling hard surface disinfection products in Acute & Non-Acute settings preferred. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area. –Zone A: $128,000 - $252,200 –Zone B: $117,400 - $231,200 –Zone C: $106,700 - $210,200 All ranges are subject to change in the future.
