Summary Job Description:
We’re seeking a National Account Executive to manage and grow strategic foodservice relationships across the Eastern U.S. This client-facing, field-based sales role is responsible for driving revenue through national chain accounts, leveraging cross-channel strategies (distribution, e-commerce, direct sales), and delivering exceptional customer service and account support. The position is based in Atlanta, GA, with remote flexibility and regular travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Account Growth
• Own and expand sales within assigned national foodservice chains.
• Develop new business across multiple channels: distribution, e-commerce, and direct.
• Build strong relationships with decision-makers at national account level.
• Coordinate with brokers and field sales to support channel activation.
Client & Product Support
• Act as product expert; support customer education, training, and onboarding.
• Coordinate creative services, customer service, sampling, and trade show participation.
• Manage pricing, bids, contracts, and promotions to maintain profitability and competitiveness.
Data-Driven Sales Strategy
• Leverage CRM and sales databases (e.g., WCDB) for forecasting, sales funnel management, and opportunity analysis.
• Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape.
• Submit reports, customer updates, and expense documentation on time.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Liaise with marketing, supply chain, and leadership to meet customer and internal needs.
• Support VP of Sales and leadership with special projects, market coverage, and training initiatives.
Must:
• 3–5 years’ experience managing national or chain foodservice accounts.
• Proven “hunter” mentality with strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas), CRM tools, and sales reporting.
• Existing national account relationships strongly preferred.
• High energy, self-motivated, and ready to take the next step in their career.
• Comfortable with overnight travel; must be commutable to Atlanta.
