Role description
Are you a results-driven sales professional looking to make a major impact with a market-leading brand? An established home improvement manufacturer is seeking a National Account Sales Manager to drive growth and cultivate strong relationships within a large home improvement retail account. What You'll Do • Develop and lead account strategies to boost product placement, selection, and sales programs across stores, eCommerce, and Pro channels. • Build deep, collaborative partnerships with decision-makers and stakeholders to achieve ambitious revenue targets. • Leverage insights on market trends and competitor activity to shape new business strategies and product innovations. • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and coordinate all aspects of the sales pipeline, including forecasting, product launches, and marketing initiatives. • Manage national and regional sales programs, lead powerful product demos, and represent the brand at trade shows and customer events. • Negotiate pricing and contracts, manage S&OP meetings, and foster smooth account operations. • Provide customer training, optimize store merchandising through regular store walks, and deliver actionable feedback to enhance the customer experience. What We're Looking For • Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus. • At least 5 years of successful sales or marketing experience, ideally with national accounts in the home improvement sector. • Strong background in eCommerce or Pro sales channels. • Proven track record of managing large, complex accounts, with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems. • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines. • Willingness to travel up to 25% (some weekends included), lift up to 50 lbs, and work on ladders up to 20' if needed. • Mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of electrical systems are highly valued.
