Job Summary: Vistar/Green Rabbit is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented E-commerce Director to manage and grow our private label and supplier brands' presence on Amazon through Vendor Central. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Amazon's retail platform, vendor operations, analytics, and supply chain processes. This role involves managing product listings, optimizing content, handling chargebacks, resolving issues, and working closely with Amazon retail teams to drive revenue and profitability. Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the Amazon Vendor Central platform, including onboarding, catalog setup, pricing, and compliance.
Ownership of P&L with a focus on driving long-term profitability.
Create strong partnerships with manufacturers, customers, and Amazon.
Negotiate business offerings in line with the total business strategy.
Develop and lead the Amazon channel strategy in alignment with broader ecommerce and corporate goals.
Identify and prioritize growth opportunities, including manufacturer partnership expansion, category optimization, and product assortment strategy.
Develop and Manage relationships with 3rd Party Marketing Agencies.
Manage and optimize product content (titles, bullet points, A+ content, images) and promotions to improve discoverability and conversion.
Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and forecasting to ensure optimal supply chain and stock availability.
Work with internal teams (e.g., marketing, supply chain, product development) to ensure alignment with Amazon requirements and strategies.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sell-through rates, return rates, and profitability.
Stay up to date with changes in Amazon policies, tools, and algorithms.
Qualification: Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
8+ years of experience managing Amazon Vendor Central accounts (not Seller Central Marketplace)
Strong understanding of Amazon operations, compliance requirements, and retail programs.
Proficient in data analysis using Excel or other analytical tools.
Experience with retail analytics platforms such as Amazon Retail Analytics (ARA) or Helium 10 is a plus.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Virtual communication and a willingness to travel 25% of the time
