Overview Of The Role
We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Online Merchandiser to support the operations and trading execution across M&S websites and third-party Quick Commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on experience in catalogue maintenance, and platform coordination with strong commercial awareness and a proactive mindset.
What you will do:
Description of Accountability:
Website Operations (KIBO)
β’ Execute day-to-day website updates using the KIBO platform.
β’ Support content creation teams by building landing pages, campaigns, and seasonal features.
β’ Support website refresh and merchandising activities to increase conversion.
β’ Coordinate with merchandising teams to ensure timely go-live of new products.
β’ Ensure that products are accurately tagged, categorized, and optimized for search and SEO.
β’ Assist in the testing and publishing of content, ensuring high standards of accuracy and customer experience
Quick Commerce Platform Management
β’ Manage product catalogue listings, stock sync, pricing, and availability on Deliveroo, Foodpanda, Instashop, Grab, and other relevant platforms.
β’ Coordinate the upload and maintenance of digital assets aligned with marketing campaigns and promotions.
β’ Monitor platform-level KPIs (order availability, cancellation rates, delivery windows) and resolve issues with urgency.
β’ Adapt creative content (product names, descriptions, imagery) as needed for local relevance and platform guidelines.
Campaign Execution & Digital Asset Coordination
β’ Liaise with internal teams to gather and upload marketing assets for campaigns (email, homepage banners, push notifications, PPC).
β’ Build content briefs according to business direction and trends
β’ Maintain a tracker of go-live timelines across both web and partner platforms.
β’ Coordinate with SEO and performance marketing teams for content optimization and keyword usage.
Reporting & Analytics
β’ Generate and share daily/weekly reports on content status, product availability, platform performance, and campaign execution.
β’ Provide insight-based recommendations to improve digital execution and site/platform KPIs.
β’ Collaborate with the Trade Manager and trade teams to refine digital merchandising based on data trends.
Required Skills to be successful:
β’ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication in English (Arabic is a plus).
β’ Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple platforms simultaneously.
β’ Proactive, reliable, and solutions-driven.
β’ Strong team player who can work independently and take initiative.
β’ Ability to adapt visual assets or content for local markets where needed.
What equips you for the role:
β’ Bachelor Degree with 3+ years in an Online Merchandiser, Web Content Manager, or Online Trading role.
β’ Experience working with CMS platforms (preferably HCLDX) and eCommerce backends (e.g., KIBO, SAP).
β’ Exposure to or direct experience managing listings and operations on Quick Commerce platforms is a strong advantage.
β’ Comfortable using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform dashboards).
β’ Strong MS Excel and reporting capability.
