Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) Developer to design, develop, test, and implement cutting-edge e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Oracle Commerce Cloud and its ecosystem, with a strong background in developing custom widgets, extensions, and integrations. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to work cross-functionally with support teams, business analysts, and other developers.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, unit test, and implement e-commerce solutions using Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) platform.
β’ Create and maintain custom OCC widgets, extensions, and integrations.
β’ Troubleshoot and provide technical support for issues within the OCC platform.
β’ Participate in the design and migration of changes to new or existing commerce integrations.
β’ Leverage Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for connecting OCC with other Oracle and third-party systems.
β’ Utilize OCC Server-Side Extensions (SSE) to extend back-end functionality.
β’ Collaborate with the production support team (e.g., PLCB resources) to investigate and analyze root causes of production issues.
β’ Provide guidance on Oracle Storefront configuration and OCC Batch Services.
β’ Apply knowledge of MongoDB in conjunction with OCC for batch and data-driven services.
β’ Recommend and implement configuration and setup changes within the application environment as needed.
β’ Update and maintain applicable project documentation, including technical integration specifications, security roles, and application configurations.
β’ Consult on changes and integrations involving Oracle Store Inventory Operations Cloud Service (SIOCS).
β’ Analyze and advise on testing strategies for Oracle monthly, quarterly, and semiannual patches.
β’ Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, Out-of-the-Box OCC solutions where possible.
β’ Ensure solutions follow best practices, coding standards, and OCC architecture principles.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Proven experience developing on the Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) platform.
β’ Strong hands-on experience with:
β’ OCC custom widget and extension development
β’ OCC Server-Side Extensions (SSE)
β’ Oracle Storefront and Batch Services
β’ MongoDB for data manipulation within OCC
β’ Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
β’ Experience with SIOCS integration and interface changes.
β’ Solid understanding of e-commerce architecture and best practices.
β’ Proficiency in analyzing and implementing changes based on Oracle patches and release updates.
β’ Experience working in production support and troubleshooting complex e-commerce issues.
β’ Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
β’ Excellent communication and consulting skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
β’ Oracle Commerce Cloud certifications (if applicable).
β’ Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
β’ Prior experience working with government or regulated entities is a plus.
