The Role:
As a Paid Search Manager, you will report directly into our Senior Director, Growth Marketing. You will partner directly with your paid search team and collaborate closely with email marketing, programmatic, social media, and performance teams.
The Paid Search Manager (Search Engine Marketing) is accountable for successfully managing Paid Search campaigns for multiple verticals – eCommerce and membership driven business models.
You'll make an impact for clients by:
• Managing the day-to-day paid marketing campaign activities across multiple search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) and social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest etc).
• Including campaign planning, implementation, budget management, performance review, and optimizations
• Leveraging multi-touch attribution and Media Mix modeling to hep inform holistic paid strategies
• Creative optimizations and reports leveraging Motion and other platforms like Triple Whale to share with clients and creative teams

What You’ll Do:
The primary responsibilities in this role are to be the go-to paid media expert, successfully leading the day-to-day the paid search and paid social campaigns; while acting as the central hub of collaboration and problem solving across various departments/resources, including senior level colleagues and senior level business leaders at the client, while delivering against client goals.
Media Planning /Management:
• Oversee and guide paid media programs for Cart.com brands
• Contribute to the development and execution of market strategies for paid campaigns, including developing strategic roadmaps, test plans, and risk/benefit analysis; as well as analyzing results and developing actionable insights.
• Responsible for translating objectives from client and account leadership into strategy and tactics for paid search campaigns.
• Perform day-to-day campaign activities for paid campaigns, including bid management, budget allocation, forecasting, performance monitoring, strategic testing, campaign expansion, etc.
Analysis & Reporting:
• Lead the reporting process for paid media performance- curate, write, and deliver optimization analysis based on business goals (ROAS, CPA, CPL, etc.)
• Maintain and QA client reporting, working with our Sr. media buying team to ensure campaign reporting integrity
• Ensure proper trafficking and tracking of campaigns
• Work with both the client and internal stakeholders to develop testing metrics and priorities by channel/client.
Management & Thought Leadership:
• Demonstrate thought leadership and professional communication skills by developing and delivering client facing materials, such as presentations, Point of Views, business cases, and performance reports. Proven success managing client relationships directly.
• Partner and collaborate with cross-function channels & teams (Brand Directors, Email, Affiliate, SEO, BI, Creative), to support omni-channel strategies, align with media and maximize opportunities
• Serve as in-house channel expert for paid search and paid social. Keep internal and client teams up to date with best practices, recommendations, and industry trends
Who You Are:
• A self-starter able to adapt to a fast paced start up environment
• Hold expert level hands-on keyboard experience and within the past 1 year
• Able to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-based environment
• A subject matter expert in direct campaign management
• Working knowledge of cross media channels, specifically SEM/SEO best practices
• A constant learner of digital media – no matter how many years of experience you have under your belt. You must see these disciplines as areas of your mastery – from the basics to the most complex. In short, we are looking for passion, pursuit of perfection, kaizen, and constant innovation to increase the Company’s performance and resources.
What You’ve Done:
• Must have 2+ years agency experience and want to stay in or move back to agency environment
• Must be coming from e-commerce space with 2+ years of e-commerce experience
• Must have 4+ years professional Paid Search experience
• Experience with 3rd party management tools (Prescient, Triple Whale, to name a few)
• Experience working with feed vendors and troubleshooting issues
• Experience with project management tools (Asana, Clickup, Basecamp, Airtable).
Nice to Haves:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
• 2+ years’ experience with Google Ads, Youtube, Meta and TikTok
• Experience with multi touch attribution, Media Mix Modeling methodologies to
