Paid Social Senior Manager (12-Month FTC, Maternity Cover) Location: Hybrid, 3 days per week in London Salary: £60,000 Propel are partnering with a high-growth ecommerce scaleup to hire a Paid Social Senior Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a Paid Social Manager who wants to step up into a senior role with strategic ownership, team management, and real influence over a high-performing channel. The Opportunity Paid Social is this company’s fastest-growing acquisition channel, and the ambition is to supercharge it further. You’ll lead a small but talented team, own the paid social roadmap across Meta, TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms, and work closely with creatives to deliver assets that cut through in competitive markets. This isn’t just about execution, you’ll be responsible for driving strategy, testing new approaches, scaling performance, and mentoring a team that’s hungry to learn. If you’re a hands-on Paid Social expert who wants to broaden your leadership skills, this role gives you the platform. What You’ll Be Doing • Lead and develop a team of Paid Social specialists (2 direct reports). • Take full ownership of the Paid Social and Display strategy, driving customer acquisition and brand growth. • Partner with creatives to deliver thumb-stopping assets and UGC. • Manage significant budgets, optimising for CPA, ROAS, and customer growth. • Use advanced attribution and reporting tools to measure performance and inform channel strategy. • Collaborate with senior marketing leaders on broader growth initiatives. What We’re Looking For • Currently a Paid Social Manager or equivalent, with 5–6+ years of hands-on experience in Meta and TikTok. • Strong communicator who can lead, mentor, and roll sleeves up when needed. • Confident working with creators and briefing UGC content. • Data-driven but creative — you understand both numbers and storytelling. • Adaptable, proactive, and excited by fast-paced scaleup environments.
