Who we’re looking for We’re searching for a Performance Creative Strategist to lead the creative and strategic output of client accounts. This role blends creative concepting with performance marketing expertise, owning both the “why” behind the creative and the “what” that gets produced. You’ll drive the testing roadmap, develop compelling ad concepts rooted in performance insights, and guide cross-functional teams toward creative that converts. You’ll be confident leading client strategy, briefing internal teams, and iterating based on data - and you’ll be hands-on in deploying new ads in-platform to ensure strategy is executed exactly as intended. You’re equal parts creative thinker, performance optimizer, and strategic executor - ready to move fast and make great work. The objective of the role Strategy & Performance • Own the creative strategy and testing roadmap for client accounts • Build and validate creative testing hypotheses using performance data • Interpret paid social performance to generate new insights and angles • Maintain a pulse on platform trends and ad performance best practices Creative Direction • Develop original ad concepts and direct-response ideas that ladder up to client goals • Write compelling hooks, copy, and CTAs for ads across platforms • Create detailed briefs, scripts, and storyboards to hand off to creators and editors • Guide iterations across formats and placements (e.g., Stories, Reels, Feed, YouTube Shorts) Client Outcomes • Lead client-facing strategy conversations, presenting ideas and creative rationale • Ensure creative work aligns with client objectives, brand guidelines, and test plans • Manage feedback loops and strategy revisions with confidence and clarity Ad Deployment & Delivery • Work collaboratively with your media buyer to upload and launch new ad creative in Meta Ads Manager (and other platforms where required) • Oversee the successful deployment and testing of ad creative in client ad accounts. • Pull insights from testing data and use to inform your creative strategy decision making Daily and monthly responsibilities • Lead weekly creative strategy check-ins and testing reviews • Own development of creative testing roadmaps and monthly delivery plans • Brief and support editors, designers, and creators with clear, performance-driven direction • Review final outputs to ensure strategic alignment • Stay close to paid performance trends, competitor ads, and cultural shifts to inform ideation • Upload and deploy ads into platform accounts with accurate tagging and campaign structure • Collaborate closely with Creative Ops and Paid Social Execs to ensure smooth execution • Attend shoots where relevant to ensure execution is aligned with creative strategy What you’ll be bringing to the team • At least 2 years’ experience in a paid media, creative strategy, or performance marketing role • Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and an understanding of ad setup, naming conventions, and creative testing workflows • Deep understanding of paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) • Proven experience ideating and testing performance creative for DTC brands • Confident presenting to clients and communicating strategic direction • Excellent storytelling and concepting skills across copy and creative formats • Sharp attention to detail and a creative eye for what drives scroll-stopping work • Organised, self-sufficient, and excited to lead accounts in a fast-paced environment • Familiarity with tools like Slack, Monday.com, Meta Ads Manager is a bonus  What we can offer you • A fun, dynamic start-up culture where you can have a real impact from day one • Regular socials with like-minded people • Flexi working hours & remote-friendly model • Bonus scheme based on performance • Nest pension scheme 📩 To apply, send your CV and cover letter to recruitment@auraads.co.uk with your name and the position you’re applying for in the subject line.
