Role description
We are an innovative young company working within the food and farming sector. We are based in Yorkshire, although operate all over the UK. We are looking for a performance marketing professional, initially on a full time basis. You will have around 5 years of experience in managing performance or operational marketing activities and be able to make evidenced-based decisions to achieve company and team objectives. Key responsibilities • Manage the core performance activities for the marketing team, for both B2B and B2C verticals • Identify and manage keywords for both the B2B and B2C side of the business • Understand our customer personae and test opportunities to drive engagement • Oversee SEO and PPC activity, working closely with agencies as required or owning it for in-house activities • Identify key areas of improvement for the websites, especially on the eCommerce site. • Monitor and report on key marketing metrics and recommend ways to optimise About you We are looking for a friendly and dynamic performance-focussed marketing manager who wants to actively contribute marketing strategy: whether it is helping drive new business generation (subscriptions, leads, revenue) or optimising customer engagement strategies. You can be based anywhere in the UK, but if you are based in Yorkshire and near the office, even better, as our preference is hybrid, but it's not a deal-breaker (we are more interested in the right person). You will need to be willing to travel to the office when required. Some UK-based travel may be required from time to time. You’ll bring • Marketing Manager experience with a performance or operational focus • Project management experience • Comfort working with and optimising a CRM and a CMS • Commercial acumen and experience of managing ad spend • Experience setting up, monitoring, optimising and reporting on paid advertising (Meta, Google) • Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, PPC and performance analytics • Management of general technical SEO needs for websites (B2B and B2C) • Excellent stakeholder and agency management skills • Effective communication and project management capabilities • Broad techstack experience including HubSpot, Canva, WordPress, Meta and Google ad and analytics platforms • Lots of creativity and ideas for helping us improve our practices You will have \-           A proactive approach to getting things done \-           Attention to detail and a desire to optimise \-           An enthusiasm for marketing metrics \-           If you have an understanding of agriculture or food supply chains, that is a plus, but not essential.
