POSITION: Planning and Buying Manager

Job Summary: As a Planning and Buying Manager at Cult Gaia, you will play a vital role in supporting all in-season business management including reporting and inventory movements, as well as all pre-season related activities including OTB development, hind-sighting, order managements, buying and post buy recaps for our E-commerce and Retail channels
This is a key role in the planning and merchandising department and works extremely closely with production, finance, sales, marketing, logistics and the retail teams. This position requires a high level of organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
β’ Support pre-season plans and in-season strategies for all product categories
β’ Manage all seasonal buys, reviews and order submissions on time
β’ Own Icon monthly forecasting and reorder process
β’ Support new store assortment selection
β’ Own monthly (and all ad hoc) re-orders; including analysis, commutations, approvals and submission
β’ Manage set up and communication of all retailβs daily breaks
β’ Own Retail replan bi βweekly, present state of retail business in weekly meetings
β’ Spearhead retail exclusive assortment with regular analysis
β’ Manage recaps and analyze sales results to plan, forecast and LY in-season sales and inventories on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for DTC
β’ Develop and implement reports to analyze key items and categories; including color, size and fabrication
β’ Support pricing and margin analysis
β’ Support off-price sales by analyzing inventory and its health
β’ Manage FarFetch business, from reporting to assortment selection
β’ Run and distribute ATS reports, receipts for each warehouse
β’ Analyze size breaks pre season and update size curves accordingly
β’ Own reporting on omni inventory; manage omni transfers, POβs and overall on time delivery
β’ Manage all communications between Production/Logistic/Sales on all seasonal WIPs
β’ Weekly Analyze inventory and present opportunities to wholesale teams
β’ Execute inventory transfers between Ecom; retail and wholesale channels in NetSuite
β’ Enter transfer orders between international warehouses in NetSuite. Ensure that this product is shipped on time and received at the destination warehouse.
β’ Enter stock adjustments in NetSuite as needed to ensure inventory levels are accurate at all times.
β’ Manually allocate urgent orders in NetSuite whenever necessary
β’ Work with analysis team/IT department to streamline data and automate reports, as appropriate.
β’ Participate in company and brand initiatives as appropriate
Qualifications:
β’ Minimum 5 years DTC planning and buying experience for a mid to large sizes fashion brand or consumer goods company
β’ Extensive knowledge and capabilities in Excel
β’ Experience using NetSuite is an advantage
β’ Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
β’ Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex material in an organized and compelling manner
