Role description
Looking to take the next step in your PPC career? If you’re highly analytical, thrive on optimising campaigns, and enjoy managing multiple projects, this is your opportunity to take ownership of PPC strategy and delivery in a well-known retail business. As PPC Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving traffic, generating leads, and maximising ROI across Google and Bing. Working within a collaborative marketing team, you’ll be responsible for strategy, execution, and reporting, having a positive impact on digital performance and business growth. About You: • 3–5 years’ experience directly managing PPC campaigns. • Hands-on Google Ads and SA360 experience. • A genuine passion for digital with an inquisitive mind who loves finding improvements and making a difference. • Strong track record in optimising spend, managing annual budgets of at least £500k+. • Proficient with GA4, Google Tag Manager, BingAds and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs). • Skilled in keyword research, A/B testing, and data-driven optimisation. • Confident analysing campaign performance and reporting actionable insights. • Experience in automotive, retail or similar will be prioritised. What You’ll Be Doing: • Developing, managing and optimising PPC campaigns across Google and Bing. • Conducting audience targeting, keyword research, and ad copy creation. • Monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve CPC and ROAS. • Delivering actionable insights and detailed reporting to stakeholders. • Running A/B tests on ad creative and landing pages to enhance performance. • Collaborating with SEO and other colleagues to share insights and drive cross-channel improvements. • Staying ahead of search trends and innovations in digital advertising. Where You'll Be Based: Most of the time you can be remote based within this role but you do need to be willing and able to commute to the Newcastle area at least two times per month. If you live nearby, you’re more than welcome to be in the office more frequently too.
