Job Overview:
The Pricing Business Analyst I works closely with the Merchandising, E-Commerce, IT, and Retail Operations teams. This individual will perform a variety of functions to support the team, ranging from obtaining, analyzing, and interpreting business data, to managing the acquisition of and reporting of competitive data.
They may be focused on but not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
• Identify and present strategic opportunities based on competitive strategy and positioning
• Grow sales and margin by identifying opportunities and actions that provoke better product performance
• PowerBI report design and management
• Oversee competitive environment
• Facilitate tracking and reporting of competitor pricing data and competitor locations
• Oversee 3rd party web scraping partners – execution, detail, schedule
• Clearance Pricing Support / Analysis / Reporting
• MAP Management
• Support business leadership with frequent ad hoc analysis / special projects

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or a related field such as economics, mathematics, or analytics
• Prefer pricing experience in a corporate retail environment
• High Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Proficiency in SQL and PowerBI or Tableau (Python is a plus)
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with data, financial modeling and forecasting
