Our Retail client is seeking a Product Copywriter to join their team as a freelancer for 6-8 weeks. This is a part-time role (20 hrs/week) working remotely. This copywriter will need to use their own computer. The ideal candidate will be experienced with creating compelling and persuasive copy for product descriptions and eCommerce websites. This role requires a strong understanding of SEO, eCommerce, and product copywriting, particularly within the luxury sector. Key Responsibilities • Develop creative and engaging copy for product naming, product descriptions, brand messaging, and SEO. • Conduct thorough research to understand the luxury market and target audience. • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure brand consistency across all content. • Optimize content for search engines by incorporating relevant keywords and SEO best practices. • Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines. • Create product descriptions that highlight features, benefits, and unique selling points. Qualifications • 2+ years of experience with Product Copywriting, bonus if in the luxury goods sector. • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices. • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
