Our client, a large ecommerce marketplace, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Product Designer for a remote ongoing freelance position. As a Product Designer focused on the Seller Experience, you’ll play a key role on the central design team, helping shape intuitive and effective experiences for one of the world’s largest digital marketplaces. You’ll be responsible for creating clean, user-friendly interfaces that address complex interaction challenges. This role calls for strong interaction design expertise, supported by solid visual and content design abilities. Success in this position requires comfort working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment. • This is a remote role working any US time zone and will be a full-time contract. • $63-69/hr Responsibilities: • Deliver thoughtful, user-first design solutions that balance business goals, product insights, and customer needs • Create wireframes, prototypes, visual concepts, and journey flows to bring ideas to life • Apply and extend an existing design system with care, while identifying opportunities to enhance and evolve its components • Contribute to user research, usability testing, and early-stage product exploration • Share design thinking and vision clearly with teammates, product partners, and leadership through compelling visual, written, and spoken communication • Take initiative and ownership of projects, driving progress and quality independently • Demonstrate strong interaction and visual design skills, along with the ability to write and present clear, concise user flows • Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other design groups • Lead workshops and design sprints to align stakeholders and shape product direction • Produce well-structured information architecture and apply user-centered design methodologies • Confidently advocate for user needs while understanding business goals and technical constraints, working closely with developers to bring solutions to life Required Qualifications: • 6+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating work in eCommerce. • 8-10 years of experience in product design or UX. • Strong understanding of the user-centered design process • Experience in design research, including driven and landscape analysis, pattern research, qualitative interviews, and crafting insights from observation. • Able to work with product managers to influence product strategy and create beautiful, scalable framework design solutions that delight our Sellers Ability to prepare effective presentations in content and function, and to speak competently to the level of the audience. • Effective communication across different functions with the ability to different perspectives, articulate positions, and advocate for designs. • Experience partnering with developers seeing your work through production and iterating on it post launch based on qualitative and quantitative metrics • Specialist in designing across multiple devices from mobile, tablet, and desktop Expert level skills in design and prototyping tools (ie: Figma) • Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design/HCI or equivalent experience • A portfolio that showcases relevant design projects and includes your process, design explorations and final work.
